Tattuesday: The Eye of Horus

Reanna's Eye of Horus

Reanna’s Eye of Horus

Every since Reanna Keener was 3 years old, she has wanted to be Egyptologist and has been fascinated by Ancient Egypt culture. Therefore, when Reanna was 19 years old, she decided it was time to get a tattoo, and nothing was better than getting the Eye of Horus, which is a symbol for good health, protection, and royal power. “In Egyptian myth, the eye is not seen as the passive organ of sight, but more of an agent of action and protection, which are both things that I will need to pursue my dream of being an archaeologist and eventually settling in the Middle East,” said Reanna. Reanna plans to eventually make her tattoo more elaborate by adding wings to the Eye of Horus that will cover her back. You go girl! Follow your dreams and passions!
