Homecoming is one the many events that SEB and SGA host for the students of Washington College. Even though WAC does not have a football team, its students still know how to show school spirit and support the other fall sports! So while you pick out your dress or find the prefect tie, remember this weekend is a time to celebrate and show Shoreman Pride. One of our student ambassadors, Jada Lee, said “homecoming will be great and I’m super excited to get dressed up with my friends.” Katriel Bush, the entertainment chair for Relay for Life, said “It’s epic that there is going to be a bonfire on Friday night as well as the dance on Saturday, and I am looking forward to finding out who will be homecoming King and Queen.” Members of the men’s crew team, Ian Flinn and Teddy Connell, think homecoming will be fun, exciting, and include a lot of dancing. Neil Pervola, brother of the Kappa Alpha order said, “The whole weekend should be fun, and I am excited for the alumni to comeback to WAC.” With reasons as great as the ones previously stated, everyone should be enthusiastic to celebrate, dance with friends, and show school spirit! So do not forget to come to the bonfire on Friday night by the quad from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the homecoming dance Saturday night on the Hodson Green from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and get ready for an eventful weekend!
