The football season has officially come to an end but the leftovers from your party may still be in play. While the game is always exciting, I think it’s safe to say that the best part of the Super Bowl is the food. If your refrigerator is still full of delicious game day food, why not try some new recipes?
If you have leftover wings, (I’m not sure why anyone would experience this) there are many things you can try. Reheating them in the microwave is simple or get creative and strip off the meat for use in a sandwich or quesadilla. If you have snack sized chip bags like Doritos or Fritos, add cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and leftover wing meat to make a Walking Taco! Extra dip or guacamole can also be added to a Walking Taco or used to liven up a sandwich. Use all those extra chips to add crunch to a sandwich or just to snack on throughout the week. Pizza is always satisfying at any time of the day, hot or cold. A good trick to know when reheating pizza in the microwave is to put a cup of water in next to it while heating. This keeps the slice from getting soggy. As for extra sodas, get creative like you did when you were younger and mix them together!
Enjoy your leftovers alone, with your roommates, or throw another party. There are plenty of variations for classic Super Bowl food so get inventive and try something new! Life is too short to eat boring food.
