Wow this week has flown by! However, the fun has not stopped. This weekend is jam packed with activities. Tomorrow morning will start off the weekend with the Kappa Sigma Pancake Breakfast. Join the brothers of KE from 8 to 12 for a delicious homemade breakfast at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. The breakfast will feature eggs, bacon, sausage, tatter-tots, and of course pancakes. All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Military Hero Campaign & prostate cancer research. The event costs $5 and you can pay at the door!
Community Dance Day will begin at 10:30 and last until 12. This is free for all children and the event will be hosted by the Washington College dance honor society, Nu Delta Alpha This is a great opportunity for kids to be active, have fun, and become introduced to different types of dance. Anyone is welcome to come and participate!
The campus will be “Blued Out” for Autism Awareness! Come to the women and men’s lacrosse games and watch them play. The team members will be wearing blue to show their support and help raise awareness for autism. The Shorewomen will play at 12pm tomorrow against Dickinson, and the Shoremen will play at 3pm. So grab your friends, wear something blue, and come support the teams!
In case you have not heard, tomorrow is an Admitted Students’ Day. Students and their families will come visit while getting a taste for what classes to take. This year’s Admitted Students’ Day is the biggest one yet! With over 300 families coming to see WAC, it is sure to be a packed campus. If everything goes according to plan, half the class of 2019 is expected to commit tomorrow.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the activities!
