Twas the night before finals week and all around campus
not a student was partying not even the Phi Sigs.
The library was filled with last minute crams
in hope that a passing grade was at hand.
The class skippers were all worried and freaking out
While regretting the decisions and wearing a pout
And the over prepared ones don’t have to weep
And know that they will get plenty of sleep.
When out on the quite floor, was an alarming shriek
As poor little freshmen realize how awful is the finals week.
The upper classmen came to nurse
Only to tell them it only gets worse.
The morning crept near and students awoke
With sleep in their eyes and lumps in their throats.
For finals week came and was finally here
And every student shed their tears.
