It is the second week back on campus and many of you are probably trying to get back into a good routine. With the new semester comes everyone’s New Years resolution, so finding a time to work out can be very important. If you are like me it can be hard to motivate yourself to get up and go to the gym. Figuring out what workouts to do can be tough and all the equipment in the gym can be intimidating. Not only do you have to find your own workout routine but you also have to motivate your self to workout. Going with friends is a great way to make sure you are concentrating on getting in a full workout. However, this is often not enough. You need someone to help push you the extra mile, someone to make you get the most out of your workout.
The fitness classes held in the JFC are a great way of getting in a hard workout. The fitness instructors who run the different classes are well trained and can help get you in shape. With a variety of classes that are held many times throughout the week it is easy to find a class that works for you. From yoga to insanity the JFC has it all. Let the instructors create the workout for you. They know which exercises to teach you and can show you the proper ways to do them. Not only do they motivate you and push you to try your hardest, but they also help modify workouts for all fitness levels. For only about 30 to 45 minuets a day you can get in an intense workout taught by a great instructor. So if your New Year’s Resolution was to get in shape or you are just looking for a new type of workout routine, head on over to the JFC and try out some of the fitness classes!
