Starting to get the mid-semester jitters looking for things to do? Do not worry; we have almost made it to spring break. The countdown is ticking away quickly to a week of relaxation and hopefully some sunshine. If you are looking for things to do in the meantime, the school has plenty of things planned!
The Student Events Board always plans tons of events to keep students entertained throughout the year. There are some exciting trips coming up right around the corner. This weekend, there is a bus trip to Sky Zone Trampoline World. The bus trip is free and you can bring your friends. The trip is from 2-6 this Saturday. What is more fun than reliving your childhood and bouncing around on trampolines for a few hours? Nothing. The best part is that you cannot fall off. You just keep on bouncing!
There is another exciting bus trip coming up after spring break on Tuesday, March 22nd. The Miller Library and CV Starr Center are sponsoring a free trip to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. You will learn how to use the library’s research centers and reading rooms. You will also receive your own Reader Identification Card. For students who are completing research, lunch will be provided. The sign up form can be found on the school website. If you cannot attend the trip in March, there is another opportunity on Friday, April 29th. These are great opportunities to do some research or just explore.
If you are itching to get away from campus for a bit without spending much money, always look at what the school has to offer! There are some fun trips planned and many more to come this semester.
