Today starts Alpha Omicron Pi’s annual Blue Week! This week with be full of events to raise money and awareness for Juvenile Arthritis. According to the Arthritis Foundation’s website, Juvenile Arthritis affects nearly 300,000 children under 16 in the United States. These children can experience pain doing everyday things like playing games at recess. To learn more about Juvenile Arthritis visit the Arthritis Foundation here.
AOII’s Blue Week takes place all week until Saturday. Sisters of AOII will be sitting at a table in Hodson all week for a 50/50 raffle. Here is a list of the other events taking place!
Tuesday: 50/50 raffel and get well cards for kids. Stop by Hodson to make your own card that will be sent to kids in hospitals.
Wednesday: 50/50 raffel in Hodson and AO-pie in the Face in Martha Washington Square from 11 to 1:30. Come pay $1 to pie a sister in the face!
Thursday: 50/50 raffel and cookie decorating in Hodson. Decorate and eat you masterpiece of a cookie with the sisters of AOII.
Friday: 50/50 raffel in Hodson and Joints in Motion in the Egg at 4:30. You can come for a free yoga session to get your joints moving!
Saturday: 50/50 raffel will be announced at Back Yard Bash! This is on the Green and will feature food, AO-pi in the face, a whiffle ball tournament, and a bounce house!
So come out and help the sisters of AOII raise money for this important cause!
