Today is World Habitat Day! Habitat for Humanity here on campus raised awareness by having a table in Hodson to inform students about their club and the things Habitat for Humanity does. This Club helps build homes for those in poverty and who are homeless. During holiday breaks Habitat for Humanity takes to the road to help construct safe places for people to live. World Habitat Day is to remind people that everyone deserves to have shelter and that we can help those in need. For more information about Habitat for humanity check out their website!

If you are interested in helping others and making a difference in the world then habitat is right for you! During every break, fall, winter, spring, and summer the habitat team packs their bags and hits the road. They travel to an area in need and get building. They are usually there for a few days working with others to make the best home they can. Members of this club are very passionate and carry their love for Habitat for humanity with them! If you want to learn more about WACs chapter of Habitat visit their website!
