Need Some Help with Your Thesis?

hqdefault-1.jpgFor many of the seniors, thesis time has begun and most are beginning to write, research, and freak out. To many, a thesis is rather new and terrifying. Thinking about writing 30 or more pages on a narrow topic can be overwhelming, and if you are writing two then it is even scarier. Hopefully your thesis advisor has prepared you and they will be with you every step of the way. But a lot of it has to be written, researched, and experimented on your own, and the hardest part can be figuring out how to start and structure your work.

Luckily for those who are having some worries there is a SCE Boot Camp this Saturday, November 5th, to help seniors get a jump on their work. This event is hosted by the Writing Center, Office of Academic Skills, and the Library and will be in Goldstein from 10AM to 4PM. At this boot camp you will have a quiet place to do your work with representatives there to help you and give feed back no matter what stage you are at in your thesis. Also Professor Hepler will be hosting two workshops, one on APA style and one on synthesizing information, throughout the day.

Make and appointment and sign up here!

They will be providing coffee, snacks, and lunch! Also Puck the therapy dog will be there to help you de-stress!
