Welcome to Washington College!

ef5cf9c7-b6da-427f-a58b-455b400bb048.jpgIt’s that time of year where many high school juniors and seniors come to our beloved campus and see how amazing it is! I myself have already seen so many excited young students going on tours and taking in the campus. It’s crazy to think that just a year ago I was going on one of those tours looking around at all the buildings and then just a few short months later I was moving into Queen Annes. The tours guides do such great work teaching prospective students and their families about our college and all it has to offer as well as answering numerous questions.

With that being said, every incoming student thinks about so many different things. How am I going to adjust? What does the college have to offer as far as what I want to major in? What’s there to do in Chestertown? Am I even thinking fair questions? Guess what, it’s okay to think a million questions about college and what life will be like when you get here, in fact, it’s perfectly normal. College is a whole different place and it’s one of the best moments of your life. Sure, it can be super scary but one of the things I feel in love with about Washington College is the minute you step on campus it’s like every question just disappears. Everything falls into place when you get to see how many amazing programs we have and learn about all the wonderful events Chestertown hosts. Washington College is one of the most beautiful campuses’s on the shore and the most diverse as well as welcoming.
