Today for the first time in a while it was warm and sunny! We’ve had a few more days here and there but nothing like today. Today’s weather had so many people outside having class, studying on the terrace at Miller Library, or even laying a blanket out on the Lawn. The weather brought out so many people out of their dorms and into the sunshine! It’s scientifically proven that warm weather can break someone out of a hard time where they are constantly feeling exhausted. Any change to warm weather helps boost your mood as well as feel more energetic. Plus, it’s such a nice change from all the cold and miserable weather we’ve been having along with the lack of snow.
The groundhog might have been a little confused thinking there were six more weeks of winter because the next few days are going to be beautiful and super warm which, I don’t know about you but it makes me super happy. Personally, I’m all about warm weather and today was just such a great taste of what spring will be bringing. Warmer weather means more sports games outside and being able to enjoy all the spring lacrosse and baseball games in the sunshine. Even going outside on the terraces of the dining hall will be such a nice change from being crammed inside for months on end. Everyone will be out walking everywhere to embrace the warmth instead of driving around to avoid all the freezing winds and chilly nights. So if you haven’t already, get out there and enjoy the warm weather!
