Congratulations! We have all officially made it to the end of the week which means spring break! After a crazy, hectic, weird, long second semester, I can almost guarantee that just about everyone, faculty included, are ready to go home or on trips to the beach or other exciting places. Spring break is a great time to relax, destress from the semester, and spend time with friends and family. For those of you who have no idea what to do for break, here are some fun ideas to consider!
- One of the most lacking priorities about a semester. Breaks are the perfect time to get ahead on sleep and even take advantage of power naps, or just naps in general.
- Road trips. Have a place you’ve always wanted to go to? Plan a day trip with friends and take the chance to explore new places, go inside cute shops and just be tourists for a today.
- Art and crafts. If you’re feeling artsy, go on Pinterest and look at fun things to paint like canvas, coolers, Mason Jars, anything you feel like you could turn into a Pinterest perfect project.
- Catch up on reading. There are plenty of books in the world to be read so why not sit down and pick one up? Have no clue what to read? Go online and type in “100 Best Books” and there are plenty of ideas to help you narrow down your search.
With all of these fun ideas, I hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing spring break! See everyone in a week!
