Congratulations! We’ve finally hit the end of the semester! With today being a reading day as well as Shorefest, take the time to relax and clear your mind before diving in the library to prepare for finals and finish papers. Even though the semester was a long one, there were so many enjoyable events. If you’re having a hard time, think about the fun events like Birthday Ball, War on the Shore, and the Jesse McCartney concert that were a great turn out they all were. Finals week is never easy but it is something we can all get through with a positive view and determination.
Don’t be afraid to email your professors with questions, they’re here to help you. The library is also such a great resource. Even though it will probably be packed, sign up for sessions in the OAS office. That is one of the best resources on campus as well as the writing center. Book an appointment with the writing center before submitting your paper. It’s a great way to get a different perspective and insight before you turn it in.
And of course always remember to drink lots of water and get at least 8 hours of sleep. We all have the urge to drink insane amounts of coffee or tea but it only makes us more tired. Drinking water helps keep you hydrated and has been known to help people focus more.
As finals approach, may you get great grades and pass your finals!
